Sara Goodman is a dancer and dance educator based in the greater Boston area. Sara is currently pursuing her Masters of Education from Lesley University’s Graduate School of Education in Arts, Community and Education with a concentration in Multicultural Education. While studying, Sara is teaching dance at Little Beats of The Dance Academy in Newton, MA. She is also excited to join the Kinetic Synergy Dance Company of Norwell, MA for their 2020-2021 season. Sara recently participated as an Ambassador in the Boston Community Dance Project (BCDP) Global Summer Session 2020 where she danced in two virtual performances and worked on graphic design for the company.

In the spring of 2020 Sara graduated from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA. While at Muhlenberg, Sara majored in Dance, with concentrations in Performing and Teaching, and also completed a minor in Jewish Studies. While at Muhlenberg, Sara performed in a number of student choreographed works as well as works choreographed by faculty members, Marcie Mamura and Randall Anthony Smith. Sara taught dance at the Muhlenberg Community Dance Center from January 2018 until her graduation in May 2020. Her classes included Beginning and Advanced Jazz, Beginning and Advanced Modern, Intermediate Ballet, and Beginning and Intermediate Creative Movement. Additionally, Sara taught Israeli Dance around the Allentown area, including at the Beth El Allentown Hebrew School and the Jewish Day School of the Lehigh Valley. Starting in September 2016, until her graduation in May 2020, Sara worked as an administrative assistant to Jessica Bien in the Muhlenberg College Dance and Theater Office, as well as an associate in the Muhlenberg College Box Office. In January 2018, until her graduation in May 2020, Sara also worked as a House Manager for the Muhlenberg College Dance and Theater productions.

Sara is excited to be back in the New England area to pursue both dance performance and education.
